Oh family.

Oh family.

I thought it would make life much easier and drama free if I kept my bridal party at family only, and my sister being the MOH would mean I could avoid facing my friends saying 'but ive been friends longer' etc etc.

Long story short; my sister had a bad, bad break up and this entire past year was a disaster for her. She moved out for some 'job opp' (which we all knew was bogus), got evicted from her apartment and had to move back home. she got into drinking more since she turned 21. She's trying to get back on her feet, and i thought that maybe my wedding planning would give her something to do other than work her butt off to pay back her debts. I had even offered has a gift to her to pay for her dress, since its only $137 and it's really no big deal to me.

Anyway, a few of my friends have asked what's going on with my Bparty/Shower, I said 'I don't know, facebook my sister', since she knows them anyway. Everyone knows what I want, and one of my friends even called around for info. She told my sister, and she is being super sketchy.

I emailed my FSIL's this morning and asked if they ever heard from her. of course not. So I had to get a little bridezilla on her just a minute ago.

I hope it friggan worked. I already know i can't know too much about my shower, but my b-party, all i wanted to do was go to lips...if they want to plan a surprise on top of that, i said to knock themselves out....just no male strip clubs was all i asked.

i just want a good time, no fighting, and everything to work out smoothly. why do i feel like this is not going to happen?

sorry you're going through this ... sometimes, people just need a little kick to get them going ... i hope your bridezilla-ness was enough of a kick for your sis!

I'm the LAST one you want to talk to about MOH's who dropped the ball.

Re: Oh family.

i just dont understand whats so difficult about giving my friend the go-ahead to book things if she did the work for my sister, when she didn't have too in the first place.

i know my sister feels like shes the MOH, but that doesn't mean you have total control, first of all, I DO. LOL kidding?

no but i can understand if my sister was still in school, and doing more recreational things than partying and working. come on, what are you doing with ur time?

im dragging her to the bar tonight to see my friends, and make myself disappear to the other side of the room if I have to so my friends can talk to her. LOL.
