oh i forgot to share .... small but long FMIL vent

so at my shower this past weekend, my FMIL was fairly quiet and didn't say much (which was perfectly fine by me )

she did, however, manager to piss off my MOH ... my MOH mentioned a mutual friend of FH's and hers saying that she met the friend in college ... FMIL kept fighting MOH on this saying that MOH was wrong and that they must have met through FH ... yeah ok FMIL ... everyone in the world has met each other because of yoru son

then we played a shower game where everyone was asked questions to see how well they know me ... one fo the questions was 'where did he propose' ... the answer is 'in a parking lot' (he had something else planned but it fell through so he panicked and proposed in a parking lot) .... so FMIL said 'well, he HAD something better planned!' (and the un-said part of that sentence was 'but you ruined it!') ... i ignored her but it was def -worthy

then my mom mentioned something about my wedding dress ... and FMIL said 'well i wouldn't know because i wasn't invited to see it!' ... we ignored her again

what an annoying lady ... such a freakin' pain in the bum ... but tolerable once you learn to ignore her

OMG how annoying is she!? She must be related to my FMIL who thinks everything is about her or my FH ALL THE TIME!!!!! She always knows 'more' thna the rest of us too. I have learned to smile, nod and tune that beotch out!

as far as i know, i don't think she SEES me rolling my eyes ... i think she thinks i love her more than anything ever

my response to FH was 'of course i'll marry you ... but really Craig, a parking lot?'

Even if she knows you don't like her, she should try to be nice, not nastier. FMIL and MILs should strive to be your friend, not your enemy.

She sounds super obnoxious and seems like a bit of an attention whorre. I'm glad you ignored her. It was the best thing you could do.
