Ok...so most of you know FH is in the Marine Corps and is stationed in San Diego. Well he is coming home most likely on May 26th for a whole month. Then on July 27th he leaves to fly back to San Diego and then flies right to Japan. He stays in Japan from June 30th 2007 to June 30th 2008!!!
Yup a whole year without my love most likely. And the thing is I might not even be able to go visit because his unit will be deployed to Iraq and other places while he is at Japan. And NO he doesnt get to come home at all while there since it is his last year in the Marine Corps= i know it ***** sometimes telling them NO.
But it just finally hit me while I amsitting here bored at work. I decided to count the number of days I have till FH comes home which is 21!!!
but then silly me counts the days till he leaves for Japan which is 53 And it finally hit me OMG!!!!!! HE IS LEAVING FOR JAPAN AND I MOST LIKELY WONT SEE HIM FOR A WHOLE YEAR!!!!!!!!
I want to cry sitting here in my chair- what am i going to do, i know i have gone months without seeing him. but a year- alot happens in a year.

I was watching this makeover show and this woman's husband was in iraq and she wanted to send him something special so she got made over and hired a photographer to take pictures of her in sexy lingerie, posing like the pin up girls of the 1920's, nothing TOO crazy, they showed his reaction and he really liked them. You should do that!
dont worry just think one that year is dont with then you get him all to your self yay!!!!!!!!!!!

That is really tough and I'm so sorry that you have to be without your FH for a year. But just think, when he gets home, you two will be getting married really soon after that!

awww sweetie!!! i cant say ive been there done that but im sure you will get through it! its goingto suck but just think at the end of the tunnel theres a light a BIG LIGHT of him being home safe for GOOD!!!! it will all be totally worth it!!!
try not to worry and we are all here for you to be your support!! fill your time with all the things you dont want to do when hes finally HOME!! im sure it feels like forever now but it will go so fast!!
and if you need anything please dont hesitate to ask!! im always around i may not have much time but im a good ear if you just need to vent or cry.... and dont let anyone tell you not to cry its good for the heart to cry!!

Enjoy your days with him when he's home for a month. Let that be the best month of your life. Make tons of memories that you can relieve the whole year. It will be tough I couldn't even imagine but the time will fly, you'll be busy planning for the wedding and you can chat here anytime you are sad and missing him!

I know I'm gonna sound like a cheeseball, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. Also think how quickly the next year will go because of all the wedding planning! So you really don't have time to sit and dwell. And write letter, have phone sex, ya know? We'll be here for you!

but think of it this way, when you got engaged everyone was probably telling you how quickly the time would go but i bet it seemed SOOOOOO far away to you. but look how quickly time has passed from them till now!! i know it's painful to think about being away from him for a year, but it will go quickly and then you'll be together for the rest of your lives. and when you're 80 and you've been together for that long, the year straight you spent apart will seem like a heartbeat in comparison to all the time you've been together.
feel better and enjoy the time you have together before he leaves!!

Aww I'm so sorry you won't be able to see him for a year. I'm sure that is going to be very difficult. Just try to think that when he comes home you will get to marry him so thats two things to look forward to
I know it's easier said than done but try to enjoy the time together while he is here and not focus on him leaving for a year.
