My friend had several ultrasounds and it was determined that she was going to have a boy. She decorated everything BLUE, got all boy 'stuff' at her shower (she has a little girl (7) from a previous relationship). Well...
She just had a GIRL! Holy cow, I am flipping out! Just goes to show...you can't always rely on those darn ultrasounds!!!!!!!

What led her doctor to believe your friend was having a boy? Were there any shadows?
Well, at least it was not the other way around. Girls can get away wearing blue, but it''s a bit difficult for boys to wear pink!

Oh my! I guess they didn''t pick out a girl''s name either!!
That''s one of my reasons for waiting to find out when the child is born!!

The baby''s name was supposed to be Riley Matthew.

She must be in shock I bet she had an early sonogram and the cord was wrapped in the 'wrong' place..I think that you need to ask at a much further date than 16-20 weeks about the gender, if you want to find out just to be sure.
Thank goodness for returns. That is why I am not going to find out, I think

this makes me a total wreck.
i think i''d be super confused and weirded out if this were a boy now. Of course I know I''d love him blah blah....but the preparation has been towards a girl and this would throw me for a loop.
