I went to a baby shower for a close friend on Sunday (although I had to leave early). I made her a 'basket' out of a baby tub (that she registered for) I filled it with diapers, wipes, baby lotions, shampoos, baby oil, baby powder, bath toys, hooded towels, washcloths, bo-bo's, bottles, q-tips, a grooming set, 4 outfits, 4 pj's and a $25.00 gift card it was full to the brim. I also bought her the boppy pillow she registered for. I was speaking to another friend who was at the shower with me and she tells me @@@@@ said 'I cant believe this is all she got me' W T F????
What did she want me to buy her? the crib?? I cannot believe she actually said that!

very greedy.... most people would be happy with just the gift card you gave...
some people... my sister was at a work baby shower, the girl was only happy about the stuff bought off her registry

Most of the time when you make a gift basket it costs alot more then just buying a regular gift....ugh! Are you sure she said that? That was not very nice.

It has to be her first kid. Apparently she doesn't understand that's the stuff you always need and ends up costing you $100 in Duane Reade or CVS everytime you walk in there for something. That is very rude, and the person who told you shouldn't had.
