OH MY GOD - I've forgotton how much I've missed NY food

Ugh, even just at the supermarket - i was looking at stuff in the deli, and in the fish market, and the bakery and oh my - they don't have half of that yumminess in VA.

I've been down there so long I've forgotton what I've been missing!

And then we went to a real bakery, I wanted to eat ALL of it.

oy.

i miss ny food.

Deb- bring some NY Bagels home and freeze them - not exactly the same as when they are fresh, but certainly better than Lenders!(Oh, and pizza freezes well too!)

MOH said the same thing (about moving back to NY)

As for the bagles, I may get a few - our freezer at school is packed though!

deb i know how you feel! the food down here is JUST not the same. my freezer is STOCKED with bagels and pizza! and i ALWAYS bring back black and white cookies

Oh I hear you! I went up there this weekend and ate rolls, bialy's, bagels, pizza until it was coming out of my ears!!!!!!
