oh my.... talk about quick service!

i ordered my dress on may 31st. i was told it would take 6-8 months to come in. no problem... my wedding isn't until may 22, 2004. i called last week to get an estimated date and they said the week of september 10th. woo-hooo! earlier than expected. i was psyched. so then yesterday i got a phone call saying that the dress had come in! 6-8 months became 5-6 weeks! oh my... what happy news!! i can't wait to see it and try it on!

the designer is jim hjelm (his visions line - not couture). i got it at a small dress shop in virginia. thanks goodness i asked about storing it there if it came in early - 10 months would be way too long for FH to keep his eyes off it!

How exciting! Have fun trying it on. It's so nice when things go smoothly!

I'm ordering next week. I was told it will take 12 months because it's an Eve of Milady dress and that's how much time they require to make their gowns. I've got a long wait!!!
