I love Gina and really DON'T wanna start looking for another vendor, but if she is having personal issues, being that she is a one women business its kinda hard to not have doubts that everything will be okay if i cant even get in touch with her?

Gina replied to my text message and said everything is all set for my wedding flowers. She confirmed she was in a car accident last week and also mentioned that she lost her voice. I guess that means we won't be talking on the phone. I'm praying that everything works out.
just because you dont have a voice that doesnt mean that you should stop all communication with your clients. Email is the easiest way to get people and if you dont have a voice she should at least be letting people know via email that everything is ok.
Elyse I seriously think I would go see her and tell her you know what happened to the girl this weekend and see what she says

ok, she says she lost her voice but that still begs the question 'why aren't you responding to emails'?
it sounds to me like excuses on her part. How come she responded to some texts and not others? (after the accident) AND... people have been trying to reach her prior to the accident. I just don't get it.

I am booked with her and that post is very unnerving. Before I make any decisions I am going to text her tomorrow to find out what's going on. She has been very responsive so far and has always gotten great reviews so I am assuming she really is hurt. I don't think it's right that any bride should have to deal with having no flowers someone should have contacted that bride, but there are 2 sides to a story so try to think positive before freaking out.

WOW Ladies!! I would be a little nervous. This poor girl had no flowers for her wedding!!! How can you just ignore such an important day in someones life!!! That is extremely messed up, granted she was in a car accident but she could have had someone make phone calls for her!! I would start looking for someone else!!

ITA! This is completely unacceptable and I would NOT trust someone like this to continue to do my flowers. I think everyone who's using her should re-book with someone else. There are plenty of reputable florists out there and it's never too late to go elsewhere. She completely overlooked someone's special day and did nothing to compensate???? No apology? Didn't contact another florist? This would NOT sit well with me at all.
