OH NO! a BRIDAL shower?!?! (MEAN MOMMY)

oh man! today my boss called me and was acting weird. she asked for FH's cell # b/c she had a question. (i thought that was weird) tehn she said it was a question he could answer about his job or whatever.
ok so i said 'hes there now hres his work number...'

so i call him later and ask 'did Rose call you?' and he says ' how did you know that?'
and i said 'she asked for the number'
it turns out shes having a little party for me at my coworkers place and wants him to invite people.

so i promised him i wouldnt tell her he told me.... but i am gonna be so emabarresed! he needs to know who to invite. i only have a few friends i would want to go... but get this.... MY MOM SAID SHES NOT GOING!!!! she said it would be putting her on the spot since SHE didnt throw me one!!! (i asked her to and she laughed and said 'are you kidding me?'.. i dropped it)

she only thinks about herself and what others think of her. this is suppossed to be the time in my life when its about ME not HER!

ahhhh thanks for letting me vent

OMG!! Thats not right! Is she maybe pulling your leg to suprise you by going? Thats nice of your boss though. And your FH shouldn't have told! They do that a lot though don't they.

lol.. yeah but i knew somethign as up... im glad he told cuz he probably wouldnt have invited the rigt people!

no, my mom is serious!!! she doesnt know when or where it is and DEF would NEVER ask FH. shes so stupid! im going to bring it up to her when i see her Tuesday.

am i invited??? what about brooklyn??

we didn't have a shower! we had an *clenches teeth* 'engagment party'!! brooklyn has a fabulous outfit to wear toooo.

don't worry about your family..your wedding is about you and your choices, your life path. that is why i did not invite most of my family to the wedding. the fact that they could not be in a room together for more than 2mins without ppl fighting was good enough for me.

we in our case they do

its like weddings turn them into evil witches

just enjoy the party that youre very sweet boss is planning! that rocks!

jess that sucks that your mom is being like this at this happy time in your life, but like the other girls said, just be happy for all those people that do care about you and are nice enough to do something special for you
