Oh, no-a pimple

I woke up this morning with the pimple of the century! I can deal with it today, but what if my wedding was tomorrow? Just thinking about it is enough stress to probably cause another breakout!

My brother insists that toothpaste on a pimple will dry it right up, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Anyone have any sure-fire solution to hide a wedding day pimple?

Sigh, I thought all of this would end when I passed puberty...

Re: Oh, no-a pimple

Go to Sephora and get Benefit's Boo Boo Zap. It's heaven in a little glass tube. Dab it on before you put your makeup on, and on top of your makeup. It dries the thing right up.

Re: Oh, no-a pimple

i used to use toothpaste, i think it worked but it dries the skin around it too. i made a dermatologist appt for the monday of the week of our wedding, and jen made 1 for monday as well. the derm also said if one popped up later in the week, to stop in and he would zap it!

Re: Oh, no-a pimple

Try Mario Badescu's drying lotion. It is supposed to be the best. I have a friend who swears by it.

Re: Oh, no-a pimple

my wedding is Sunday and I woke up Monday morning with one! I went to the derm and he injected it. It's practically gone already so hopefully I won't get any new ones from now until Sunday!!!

Try going to a derm...Also...Jaqueline Nicole told me to try a pimple cream from Clinique...she said it's amazing. I'm going to pick up a tube tomorrow...hopefully I won't need it!

Re: Oh, no-a pimple

I had a really bad cyst like pimple about 2 weeks before my wedding. My wedding is this Saturday. I went to the Dermatologist and he injected my face. That helped a lot now I have two prescriptions for my face, one is a topical antibiotic. I still have a few but with makeup it doesn't look too bad and the medicine should keep it under control.
