OH NO! Another $100!

I'm a complete and total idiot.

Not only did I want to have wine glasses made for favors I wanted to imprint the name of the vineyard to make them a little souvenerish ... silly ... I know

But I AM the worlds worst speller and overlook it all the time .. and I mispelled Vineyard .. Vinyeard

I went through 2 proofs and never noticed it. Showed it to FH he never noticed it. THen they came and everyone saw them, no one noticed.

But omg I just know the nitpicky people at the wedding are going to notice..

I'm in a cold sweat panic about this. The company has offered to redo it for another $100.

What do I do?

Do I pay up the extra to get them all redone, or do I learn to live with it?

I agree. Especially if you are self concious about it. (Not great speller myself)

I would probably pay the extra 100. In the long scheme of things what is any extra 100 after spending all the money we do on weddings already. JMO

I would do it only because that would drive me nuts!! Plus, my family would expect that out of me so I can't mess up I am the dumb blonde of the family (so they say) so they are just waiting for a screw up from me

I would do it. I was reading the post to FH and he said you have to redo it, you will never hear the end of it. It will be something you will be teased about forever. So, that is 2 votes for the re-do. I can say that I def can see that. I did something similiar with a typo on a piece of paper I was putting in the invitations, to see who was taking the shuttle option, and I misspelled something. It was noticied by my 10 yr old daughter AFTER I already cut 125 of them. I had to re-do and then I realized i missed a space, but left that.

I would spend the $100 since someone will notice and you don't want your guests to realize the mistake.

Oh NO! I would say spend the $100 but that's a LOT of stemware to have around the house!!!!!

Thats a really tough call! Your other option is to keep them...not say anything to anybody and after the wedding bring it up and be like,
'I can't believe the printing company did that! I'm so embarrassed!'

Oh yeah, where would I donate? Why would anyone want to buy it with our names on them?

I would pay for it. Give some away to your close family members and the rest you keep. Everytime you have a drink just have it 'slip out of your hands' until they are all gone and at least you can say they were used.

DEFINITELY pay for them but also ask the company what you should with the old ones? Maybe they can recycle them?

OR

You can invite people over for a wine glass painting party? People can decorate and paint wine glasses and then take them home after? I dunno--just an idea.
