I'm a complete and total idiot.

Not only did I want to have wine glasses made for favors I wanted to imprint the name of the vineyard to make them a little souvenerish ... silly ... I know

But I AM the worlds worst speller and overlook it all the time .. and I mispelled Vineyard .. Vinyeard

I went through 2 proofs and never noticed it. Showed it to FH he never noticed it. THen they came and everyone saw them, no one noticed.

But omg I just know the nitpicky people at the wedding are going to notice..

I'm in a cold sweat panic about this. The company has offered to redo it for another $100.

What do I do?

Do I pay up the extra to get them all redone, or do I learn to live with it?

Oh yeah, where would I donate? Why would anyone want to buy it with our names on them?

I am not sure where to donate and for selling-some people are strange. There can be crafty people out there that can fix it or remove the names. Are they etched in the glass? Maybe the place where you got them could give you ideas.

I'm sorry to tell you this but I think you should redo them. That is a major spelling error. We've all spent extra $$$ for our screw ups so don't be too hard on yourself. I had incorrect grammar on our invitations and had to redo them!

I would just scratch off the name of the VineYARD myself, but I tried with a razor, but its like heat painted on..

I really think they should've noticed, but if you're the final say, you have to have them redone. I'm curious to know what review process THEY have? Most printers do some sort of spellcheck, so that's odd.

i would definitely pay the $100.

i just couldn't give out something that has a spelling error like that on it.

i'd imagine its a relatively small amount compared to what you paid for them the first time around.

you need t ore-do them unfortunately.... it is very noticeable and i tihnk most people would notice it.

The company can't help you out? You would think that they would be responsible for proofing as well? or maybe the $100 is a lot less than it really costs?

Thanks girls, I will probably either get them redone or not use them at all...

but now is the dillema of what to do with all this glassware I have over 100 wine glasses.

Seriously, would anyone know who would want them? I'd be happy to give away.

Honestly, I would notice but I'm a teacher and I get paid to notice those things. Most people will NOT notice -- you mentioned that no one saw it until you pointed it out. If it really bothers you, then spend the $100. But I think it would be ok too if you left it the way it is.
