I'm going to China on business (long story). I was supposed to only go for a week - I just saw the revised schedule and they have now scheduled me for an extra week. This means I'm on back-to-back teams for this project we're working on (and means I'll literally work 3 weeks straight without a day off).
Anyway, INSANE work days aside, this means I'll miss the ONLY Valentine's Day we'll be engaged. I've never been big on V-Day at all, but I was really looking forward to what is basically our first real valentine's day together, and the only one we'll have while we're engaged.
I know it's really silly, but I'm really, really upset about it.
I'll be in China from 2/2 - 2/17.

It's not silly. No one says you have to celebrate Valentine's on the 14th, do it when you get back. Hey, you can buy lots of marked-down decorations.
And you get to go to China! How cool. I'm terribly jealous.
