I'm sorry that happened to you!

I'd definitely give her misleading info and knowing me, I'd make a snide comment or be REALLY obnoxious about it. I'd go up to her and say things like. 'It's soooo coooool that we registered for the same things!' and keep going on and on about it in front of people. I embarrassed my friends little sister by accident when we were little (10 or so) by commenting when she was wearing stuff I handed down to her, so it should work. (stopped when her mom gently mentioned that to me)

If she's insecure then you may just make it worse though...

The same vendors is one thing, but this...

I was tempted to register for the same everyday glasses as one of my BM bc I like them but found something else on purpose! She should know better!!

you need to just tell her nothingabout your wedding plans. it is hard and hurtful that you cannot gush on about your wedding and your plans - but you need to keep your ideas to yourself.
OR
lie to her. tell her your doing this - wait for her to do it - and then do something else. this girl is really just wanting you to do all her leg work. its easier for her to book who you booked, and have what you have than to research herself.

it is extremly annoying - good luck...

One of my BM's just got engaged and she's starting to do the same thing. She wants the names & #'s of all of the vendors I've used and she called me the other day saying she was on line looking at my registry and marking down what she wants too! It's really starting to make me angry!!!
