Veterans Day is a federal holiday, so all government offices will be closed that day. I would assume that would also apply to city and local government offices, too. They should be open Friday, though.

They are closed on Veterans day- becuase I have jury duty that week, and the notice said to start calling on Monday night.

As well they should be! The real reason behind the holiday is that it's my birthday.
But shhhhh - don't let the government know I spilled the beans

Re: Oh no!...Veteran's Day -no marriage license?
What time will you be in on Wednesday? some offices are open a litle late, but normally they are open till 3 or 4.If you get it Friday you have to wait 24 hours, so you'd have to go FIRST thing. They mark the time you got it on the license.
Do you need to bring it to your rehearsal?
(my pastor reccomends that, so we don't forget it)
Although, I se knwo your FFILis your officiant,so he might let it go if you don't have it at the rehearsal
