My brother broke up with his girlfried of over two years last night. I feel really bad for him bc he really loves her.
But, I hope I dont sound selfish, but she is also in my wedding party. I figured I would give then til August to get back together before I find a replacement. I dont think she would want to be in it if they are broken up still.
My question is, should I let the girl I may replace her with know in advance and the circumstances or just wait it out??? Give a heads up or not?
If my brother and his girl get back together, i dont want her to think that Im just worried about the wedding and just looking to replace her.
I really like her!

I would wait to tell her. I think it would be uncomfortable if they do end up getting back together.

Wow! Thats a tough. Are you close to her regardless? I would talk to her and your brother to see how the feel about the situation. I would get a replacement now and if they end up getting back together, i'd leave her out.

i'm really sorry to hear about your brother's break up, that's never a happy thing.
but i totally don't think you sound selfish, it's a COMPLETELY legit concern!!
if i were in your situation, i think giving it another few months to see whether they work things out is a good idea, but i would not tell the girl you would replace her with until then. b/c if they do get back together it would be weird for you to tell the other girl. she'll be just as excited in august as she would right now, so i think you should hold off on telling her.

Sorry to hear.....give it a lot of time before making any decisions. They might get back together and if they do, you don't want any hard feelings between the two of you.l

If you are cool with her regardless I would talk to her. She may still want to be in the wedding and not feel weird about it. Plus like you said they may get back together

I'm sorry to hear this!
I would give it a few months to talk to them. If you're close with her, talk to her and see if she would feel comfortable staying in your BP. If she says yes, she would still like to be a BM, then talk to your brother and make sure they'll both be okay and comfortable with it.
If she says no she wouldn't be comfortable, still give it some time and if after a few months her and your brother aren't getting back together, then find a replacement.

give it some time then talk to your brother and then her... find out how they feel about it. if you know her well, she might still want to be there- you'll never know!
