Oh the stresss

anyone else looking for a house and planning a weddings at the same time? its soo stressful, plus FH went out on his own and started his own business a few months ago, its finally taking off, but my gd the stresss gets to me some days--- really--- im so worried that its going to get worse closer to the wedding--- haha

We're not looking at the same time but we're looking to buy a house afterwards. It's really stressful b/c this wedding is costing so much $ and we're probably not going to get as much back as we spent on the wedding.

sorry to hear that you're stressing but i always believe that eventually, everything will fall into place, even if it's not necessarily w/in the timeline that you want it to

Yes. I can totally relate!!

We're trying to save for both now, and unless one of us gets a huge promotion, the house just isn't gonna happen for a while. My mom suggested living at home for a couple of weeks after the wedding so we can close with the money we get from the wedding. Not such a bad idea b/c we don't get home from our HM until 3 days before Thanksgiving so I might as well just stay home and have FH move in through Christmas and close at the new year?

Just a thought Don't forget about those envelopes coming your way at the wedding! I always seem to forget about them lol.

dh and i were looking for a house while we were planning. we found the house in january, signed the papers in late april, moved in early may. very crazy time!! i don't recommend cutting it that close! plus, we had out-of-town guests staying w/ us the week before the wedding, so everything had to be ready and comfortable for FOUR people to stay comfortably for a week.
