depends on the look you are going for? edgy? romantic?
if you are looking for edgy, there's lots of ladies that do it at this graffiti park ( i believe near Long Island City?)
if you are looking for NYC urban, Grand Central or Central Park, SOHO, Meat packing....Brooklyn Bridge..
I hear there are lots of nice parks in LI: OWG, Sands Point Castle....
