Did anyone go to Oheka and get any pricing at all for different days of the week?
Has anyone been to a wedding there recently?
I am trying to get some feedback on the quality of the food. I know the place is beautiful BUT sometimes that means the food isn't great ... which is my biggest fear ...
Any information is greatly appreciated

Hi! Welcome...I did not go to look at Oheka for pricing, etc because I know it's out of my price range. I know someone that got married there in 2006 and at the time there was a 10,000 site fee and it was around $350pp plus tax and grat, I'm assuming being that was 5 years ago it's gone up a lot. I heard that someone I know got married there recently and i was around $500pp. From what I remember the food for dinner was OK, the food at the cocktail hour was amazing though. I stayed at the castle as well and that was amazing. I'm sure you can go there for some sort of tasting if you ask.

Yes I heard about the site fee ... I also heard there is a specific vendor list. I know the photographer I want is on the list but I am trying to see if the florist I want to use is on there as well.
I'm just trying to gather all my information before meeting with them.

Oheka is a gorgeous venue but I have never been there for anything. Did you try checking on projectwedding for reviews?

it looks beautiful, but totally outta my budget. i think there are a few brides on the 2011 board tho, you could try post on brides helping brides or crashing 2011

They do a few showcases every now & then. I never went bc it's like $50 to walk in the door for a bridal showcase! Lol but if I was looking to pick this I would spend the $$$. Good luck
