I absolutely loved Oheka Castle when I first layed eyes on it. I've been looking at several mansion venues and I knew Oheka was where I wanted to get married. I know the price was ridiculous and my fiance was kind of skeptical if we could afford it, but after several negotiations I was able to negotiate to a reasonable price for a Sunday in March 2014. I was wondering if anyone who had a wedding or will have a wedding at Oheka can give me any input or vendor suggestions. I'm excited and looking forward to planning this wedding! Congrats! Hands down one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. I'm not too familiar with the vendors, but I'm pretty sure Brett Matthews Photography works a lot of their weddings, but they're pricey just for their name. I also see that Pedestal's florist works there a lot and they do beautiful work!

Deja Vu Studios photography has alot of experience there- they are pretty expensive though.. you're so lucky to be having your wedding there, so jealous!

Beautiful place!! The grounds are gorgeous!! I'm sure they will give you a list of vendors they use..and believe it or not I thought Deja vu studios was reasonably priced for all they offered

FH proposed at Oheka Castle. We tried to take our epics there, but there was something about no private photography allowed unless it was a wedding. Congrats on making that venue happen!

Their albums are gorgeous, though.

Thanks everyone! I'm so thrilled. I will be on a budget for the vendors so will defin need to shop around. I've reached out to Brett Matthews for a quote but they wanted to make an appt first to discuss and I just wanted to see pricing first.

From what I understood with them, you book with the company, but they outsource a lot. Ken Hild was one of the freelance photographers they'd use. I'd be so pissed if I booked with a company and just got random guys haha.

One of the Jonas brothers got married there too! My Fiance was saying is that why you want to get married there??? I was like no, I don't care about him or any other celebrities who got married there. I just want my fairy tale wedding with my prince charming!lol
