Ohh my Gosh I'm thrilled!!

I found out I'm student teaching in the Fall!!! I finally got to this point. I'm graduating 1 month after my wedding next year.

This time next year I will be a wife and college graduate :)~~~ can't wait!! LOL

Had to share my happy news because usually i'm full of nothing but bad news lol.

Graduating from SUNY Old Westbury in elementary education (1-6) and I minored in Multicultural English.

I'll be observing next semester part-time (100 hours)

Then In the fall wherever they place me I'll be student teaching in a school.

Can't wait..lol

That is sooo cool. I wanted to do student teaching as well, but its only when I get into the graduate program that I can begin. I was thinking of majoring in elementary education...dont know why I didnt.

congrats!! it is very exciting!

i majored in PR in undergraduate but I'm in graduate school for elementary education and I'm student teaching right now and I absolutely love it!!! Good luck to you!

Thank you sooo much...

honestly this year has been so draining. It was supposed to be the best time of my life- planning my wedding...then my grandmother became ill..passed away so quickly....and my future mother in law was diagnosed with lung cancer.

My school kept changing the requirements for education majors and my FH's chance of getting into Local 3 were slim...

Now.....I am def. graduating next year..and he is in local 3 with medical benefits lol. Things just fell into place.

Besides a lot of hard work- It was really my faith that got me through everything..same for FH.

I hope this is a start to a lot of new and happy things!

THANKKKK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT THOUGH..IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD!

lol....finding out when you can graduate -definitely an exciting day! I just got the post card saying my degree was FINALLY printed....so now I can actually feel like I did graduate! lol
