My mom is a speech and language pathologist and has her own contract with the country. All of the providers are being audited bythe state and she is missing some signatures on her therapy logs from years ago. Does anyone know what consequences there are for this? We need to know if we have to drive all over the island getting the missing signatures. Thanks!

usually state audits go back 2 years... I work for the state and get audited...most of the programs and therapy that is looked at is only 1 year long....

Also...if for some reason they do notice it..it is usually a citation that will be written up in a report along with everything else. After a audit report is given the agency usually has to come up with a plan of corrections in which they will have to say how they are recitfying the situation I don't think it will be a big issue at all. Especially if it is many years back. SHe really can't be held responsible for that, especially if it wasn't her.
