Re: OK-Can't eat too many bagels

i take my breakfast to go and eat in the car on the way to work so ive found some easy and healthy things that have cut down my calories

i eat 2 whole wheat or blueberry waffles no butter or syrup since its messy and thats about 80 cals a slice so 160 total

then i get the thomas's carb consider bagels for my bagel craving...cals are low on those too and i slather them with jam

or ive been eating two slices of cinnamon toast from peppridge farm...totally fills my sweet tooth in the AM

or just a bananna

if i have time to eat at home, ill have a light yougurt with some granola for crunch which i also have as a snack after work too

How about mini bagels? They're a lot better than regular bagels and satisfy the craving of having one. I've been soo bad
I do Atkins, but this week is PMS week and I've been eating bagels every day this week. I feel so guilty but I promised myself no more junk. I have to get back on track. It's so hard to be good

Thanks ladies, right now, I am snacking on a two tone apple it is green&red, with peanut butter, it is def. an acquired taste. Not to mention, I wish this apple was red, it would prob. taste alot better.

Just about every morning I eat cereal with some blueberries or cut up strawberries. I use vanilla soy milk. It's so good with cereal!

I just found this new cereal at my supermarket called Optimum Power Breakfast by Nature Path. It actually doesn't taste too bad! It's not sweet, but you don't really notice when you add the fresh berries and soy milk.

I agree about eating mini bagels. Good idea!

I second Optimum cereal, although the one I have tried is called Optimum Slim - organic cereal . . . Not sure what the difference is because I've never tried the original one shown in the picture... anyway, the box looks pretty much the same... That cereal is really pretty yummy, and it has really high protein and fiber! So good.

I just looked up both online (because I really am THAT bored ). Optimum Power has a little more calories and a little less fiber than Optimum Slim. The difference is pretty minimal though. Power has 190 calories/cup and Slim has 180 calories/cup.

I'm a big fan of Kashi cereals (expect the puffed variety). They're the only cereal that's ever kept me full until almost lunch!

I love KASHI. They also have cereal bars, they're really good.

A friend of mine told me about the Go Lean Crunch by Kashi....definitely an acquired taste! The flavoe is really great....cinnamon and brown sugar....just atstes like cardboard after a while. And it tastes better out of the box, without milk!
