So I am really unhappy with the CPs that I originally bought. They are a massive overkill of my fall theme, and they are not what I want for the reception.

So I have a new idea...

I want large snow globes. Very, very simple...but still classic. I don't know that I really want anything in it... except for the snow...maybe some sparkles of color or a key or something...nothing crazy. And they need to be a decent size.

Where on earth would I find such a thing?

I too like the bird cages and the lanters gina posted., The snow globe idea is really different if you had a pic it might be easier for us all to visualize. The only Idea I have for that is that michaels seels these bubble vases in 8 or 10 inches maybe set them upside down and make it look like a snow globe, you could spray the inside and put a battery votive - But I dont really know if it would look as nice as the lanterns

I'm actually looking into possibly doing crystal trees for our CP instead of flowers...They are so different and some of them are beautiful....

i honestly dont think the snow globes will work with your fall theme. i happen to like the lanterns very much!

Jen, with your fall leaves and love birds look going on, definitely leave the snowglobes out! What about the submerged flowers like what Roz had? Maybe submerge some fall colored leaves? Or, the birdcage (cuz you have the lovebirds napkins & stuff) idea is great and totally goes with your theme.

Nope I don't want any flowers. They were just very simple trees with leaves (they were like....shiney....) They are too casual plus I don't want to overkill with the fall theme.

I'm looking for a contrast to the fall theme. We have some light blue in the color palette. I don't like when parties get carried away with themes, so we don't want everything to be in your face fall.

then i think your cp's should be neutral colors. maybe just stick to white. if you put a different color scheme in the mixx, its just goinig to confuse pp. i like the lanterns- mayve white candles around it with ivy?
