So I am really unhappy with the CPs that I originally bought. They are a massive overkill of my fall theme, and they are not what I want for the reception.
So I have a new idea...
I want large snow globes. Very, very simple...but still classic. I don't know that I really want anything in it... except for the snow...maybe some sparkles of color or a key or something...nothing crazy. And they need to be a decent size.
Where on earth would I find such a thing?

wait im confused- are you changing your theme from fall to winter? and you just want plain snow globes?

No, I'm not changing the theme. I want something classy and all white though for the CPs...but I don't want flowers, and I'm not crazy about candles. I don't want to go overkill with the fall theme. I've seen snow globes for all seasons though, so maybe it's weird, but I don't necessarily associate them with a winter theme.

hmmm/... doing a quick search, i could only find small ones that have pics or statues on them. the thing about snow globes is even if you get large ones, you might need something around it to make it look a little full... no?
IDK... I don't really think this goes with your theme at all.... What about vintage looking birdcages? Save on Crafts.com has some really nice ones and they're not all that expensive. I just think the snowglobe takes you in a completely different direction. IMHO

I agree on the bird cage and lantern ideas! way to think outside the box... definitely creative and different, but will make a statement.

Instead of having to go out and purchase more stuff, can you just have the florist take it down a notch on the fall theme? I am 10/2 and doing lovely low centerpieces (not typical fall colors, but some reds, yellow and a sunflower and other fillers...it looks lovely...) I like the latern idea, or maybe a hurricane lamp with some kind of wreath underneath would look lovely... I am not a fan of the snow globe for fall... It would be a bit confusing.

Maybe you can make these yourself. But large jars that have the cork lids like this photo and you can fill it whatever you like, even with some small fall accents so its still within your theme?
