Absolutely! I have several gay friends in commited relationships. I know they'd make wonderful parents!

Yes, yes, yes. So many babies who are up for adoption need a good home. Why deny a child a life with two parents just because they are the same sex? I wish it was easier for them, because I know of a few gay couples who would be wonderful parents and had toyed with the idea of adoption, but didn't try to do it because they were afraid it would be too hard.

Why so many liberal? I agree too I think its a shame to deny someone a child who has all thats necessary to offer a great home and upbringing

Yes!! I think that if anyone is mature enough to want to take on the responsibilities of parenthood should be able to adopt regardless of sexual orientation.

I think anyone who is willing to open their non-abusive home to children in need, should be allowed to adopt.

I agree!! I also feel that single parent adoptions should be easier!!

yes of course. Any one who can provide a loving home should be able to adopt !
I know gay couples who are waaaay more functional than some hetro ones.

I do feel that it is really important for a child to have a strong role model, an opposite of the same sex couple. ie; Lesbian Couple has strong Grandfather?Uncle/Birth Father role in the picture.
