OK dumb question, what happens to your bouquet at the church?
I was just thinking......you are holding your bouquet down the aisle. At what point do you pass it off or do you put it down somehwere????
I never noticed this smooth transition. When do you pick it up again?
Added: Does the person who walks you down the aisle lift your veil? Do people still do that or this a preference issue?
I know dumb detail, but I was wondering!

MOH takes it after she fixes your train, then hands it back after the kiss.

You hand it to your maid/matron of honor when you get up to the altar. Then she hands it back to you when you are about to go back down the ailse with your husband.

When I was on the altar, I think my MOH took it from me and put it on a small table they had set up next to our seats. I may have held it for awhile until time necessitated me putting it down.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, but aren't you shaking hands'kissing people at the receiving line?
After my brother pulls the veil over my head (do peopel still do that?) I a pass it off ot my Maid of honor?

Ok, this is what I remember. When we got to the receiving line, I gave my sister (MOH) the bouquet and she held it b/c she was on the other side of the aisle. There will be tons of people helping you that day so don't worry. And, it's never a stupid question
As for the veil, I think whoever is giving you away is supposed to lift it up before you get on the altar. My godfather forgot and my husband had to lift it up before we kissed. At a friend's wedding, we saw her dad do it just as they reached the altar.

Once your brother lifts your veil your fh will take your hand and go up onto the alter with you. When you are standing in front of your seat your moh will fix the dress and take your bok away from you..Right before you are about to walk back down the aisle she will give it back to you...as far as someone holding it during the receiving line that will probably be your moh..trust me its not a stupid question...i went to a wedding on saturday and i got brushed up on the wedding day criteria
