If It was affordable for us, the Carltun and Oheka

Other than those 2 I am happiest with Villa

I have to be honest. I picked what I think is the best place to have a reception. It's warm and has charm, plus it's absolutely stunning. Very different than the traditional place to have a wedding.

Rachel, I agree.
The Bourne Mansion is so beautiful and Unique.
The minute I walked in I knew..
It was the 2nd place I looked, I booked on the spot. There was no reason to look any further.

Oheka, if price was no object.

I have to go with the Bourne.

I liked Oheka, but I hate their new ballroom/reception room. It just doesn't fit the period & charm of the castle. What was once a beautiful castle has now been destroyed with it's contemporary wall of windows.

My number one pick was Lessing's BOURNE MANSION! It's absolutely gorgeous, but completely out of my price range at over $150 per person! So jealous of you fabulous women who've had it there!

I agree with Rachel and Helen on this one
And I have been to plenty of other places, none had the charm like the Bourne...

yes, I'm totally biased, but I'd say Carlyle

I've never seen Bourne or Oheka, though and they look beautiful in pics.

I'd also say Atlantica from pics. What a beautiful backdrop. Nothing's more gorgeous than the beach out East.

I would say Atlantica, or Lands End but thats just my opinion bc I like the water.

If money was no option - The Bourne Mansion. Instead, we went with the cheaper option next door!

I also love Atlantica, but it's a little too far for City folks.

Oheka, no question for me.

There are several places. If money is no option I would have loved Oheka Castle. It is like a fairy tail wedding. If you like ocean view I would go with giorgios. Unfortunately they were booked for my date. And of course I like Watermill. They are the nicest people and everybody says the food is wonderful. Time is ticking.

If $$$ were no object, I'd have it at a private home in the hamptons and get a caterer.

I am a Carltun bride but my dream wedding would be at Oheka (it was a little out of my range at $350 per person)!! Second of course is The Carltun!!!
