who makes changes to their registry without consulting with their fi?
i got the latest crate and barrel catalogue and decided that i no longer wanted to get the matching accessories to our everyday placewear, that instead i wanted glass accessories. figure that would be more practical b/c it could be used daily or with our formalwear. so....
i logged in to our registries today and made all the changes. i wanted to see if i was the only one who's done this...

When we went out with the gun, he was so excited, he was zapping everything! I just smiled and let him go nuts. Then we got home, he went to watch TV and I deeeeeefinitely weeded our some silly things. I mean, come on, who registers for a tequila shooter set? Shot glass are one thing, but this was a set with a place to hold the lime and the salt! So not worth the argument, I'm sure he's forgotten by now that he even picked it in the first place!

Re: ok, 'fess up
when i am at work and remember something that i want to register for I'll log on and add it.
For the most part with Kitchen stuff I dont need to consult him, he doesn't care what flower sifter i want and those types of things. I wouldn't change our bedding wihtout consulting him though.

i am registering on my own - lol the only thing he wants is a really good capuccino maker and frosty mugs for his beer - so the rest of the stuff is going to be a surprise for him when i do get it. . . .lol i dont think he really cares about my china patterns - he completely doesnt get the point of formal china and crystal either and i am so getting that!

I did, but only when it was stuff he really didn't care about... Nothing major like our everyday dishes or china pattern!

I am in complete control of the registry. FH words the other night were 'we need to shut that thing down.' He wants only cash for gifts.

That is the funniest thing I have ever heard! Unfortunately, I have a groomzilla on my hands...who checks the registry as often as I do!

This is exactly what I did. He zapped everything!!! He was so into it, that I did not want to ask him to stop or I would never get him to do anything wedding related again. So I let him do it and then I took off what we really do not need. I left a lot of his silly things, but I took off the really crazy things (I am talking about candy and crap like that <-- yes he really did register for the candy, he said it could be a wishing well gift).

ditto... and I change things all the time. He wouldn't know if I make any changes anyway. I don't even think the registry of today in any way resembles what we did the first time we created it! lol...
I also created the honeymoon registry on my own. He has NO idea he's registered for a SPA DAY on his honeymoon... he's never been for a facial in his LIFE, and he's the most macho guy there is, yet the caption for that item is SOOOO not him, it's HYSTERICAL!!! If he knew it was on there, he'd FREAK!! I hope someone gets it for him!!

I change things all the time....we have the same taste in things, so he doesn't mind me changing things. We still need to register for sheets and things like that, and I will consult him on them...but he basically says, 'whatever you want babe.'

We'lll probably initially register for the big stuff together but I'm sure I'll change it after that cause like many of you girls already said, I don't think he cares about what utensils we get!

This is pretty funny! I haven't done my registry yet, but now I can't wait to see how FH does with it!
