Ok, first vent about BM........NWR

First I have to say that I am very disgusted with her right now. Her husbands mother passed away from lung and brain cancer just over 1 week ago. We have ALL been there for the both of them and their families becuase they mean so much to us and we wanted to be there for the support. (they are both in our wedding party).

The veiwing was this past Friday and the funneral was this past Saturday. I was not able to attend either of them due to my surgery, but my FH went for the both of us and so did a bunch of our friends.

Well, my MOH called me up to tell me that at the funneral, my BM, in front of all her husbands family told her husband that she wanted to go home becuase she was tired. This was after the funneral.....everyone just got to the sisters house for food and what not. But she was too tired and wanted to go home and sleep. Her husband asked her to stay and she said she was just too tired and asked if one of us could bring him home. I thought that was just so insensitive! Her husbands mother JUST passed away and she wanted to go to bed instead of supporting her husband during this time. I could not beleive it! Some people!

We all know that she is 'self centered' sometimes and if the attention isn't on her, she gets upset. But my god! This is a funneral!!! No attention needed here girl!

Sorry for the vent ! Just thought it was disgusting!

That is definitely disgusting, some people just don't have the moral and right part of their brain!

Wow, I don't think I could ever do something like that to my FH. That's just crazy.

not to defend her or anything but some people react funny to death and situations like that and can't deal well...maybe it was her excuse to try and get out of there? and then again some people are just a-holes...sorry to hear.

Yah, We were thinking that at first, because we thought there was no way she would do that just to be so insensitive, but, I have spoken with her and she said that she was just soooooo tired and whatnot. And in the same conversaion, told me how bad the food was and how people shouldn't have sent so many HUGE arrangements....'what are we supposed to do with all of these flowers?'......... OH my goodness........

He's doing better this week. His birthday was on the same day as the veiwing (friday). It was REALLY hard for him that night.........I don't think he'll ever have a good bday again.........

I really hope that she did that bc she was so upset and overwhelmed by the death that she just couldnt bear to be around people anymore????

wow that's pretty crazy....

I feel bad for her husband.... if your wife can't be there for when you most need her and vice versa.....
