My sister is getting married on the 24th of this month, and I really want to get her and her FH something special and nice as a gift. Since we're both getting married so close to eachother, I think it's ridiculous to give her money. Not to mention it's my sister and I want to give something special. But I'm drawing a TOTAL blank for days now as to what I should buy. Anyone have suggestions???????

She got everything. I want to get her something that's different and special. And now that I'm thinking about it, I would love to get them a digital camera, but I don't think that's special enough. I don't know what the hell to get her. This is driving me nuts!

what about a camcorder? Alot o them work as a video and camera? Get her a couple of frames and albums (wedding, baby, birthday) and tell her it is to record the special moments in their life together...i know...i am REALLY dorky!

Maybe something that's not so sentimental AND a piece of fabric with a 'sister' poem in it that's embroidered in blue that she can have sewn into her dress? Or something like that...

I think either the camcorder or digital camera and if you want to make it special maybe you can have a plate attached to it w/ a saying I know that they have metal plates at one of the small vendors at roosevelt field & then you can attach it to the camcorder/digital camera either on teh actual device or string it through the strap...just an idea to make it more personal

Maybe one of those nice throws like they have at things remembered with their names and wedding date sewn in. Or how bout, well I don't know what you want to spend, but how bout a gift certificate to dinner for each month of their first year of marriage so they can go out on like their 1 month, 2 month, 3 month etc, anniversary and celebrate. If ya get a $50 gift certificate for each month that run about $600. Wine of the month club to celebrate each month. Nice honeymoon basket with stuff to use on their honeymoon. I'll keep thinking!!

Great ideas ladies! I'm going to give some thought to the honeymoon basket idea. We went to look at camcorders today and I was all excited to get them one of those, but then I was thinking and I KNOW them so well and that thing will get broken or tossed aside and forgotten about. On the other hand, I now know what JT REALLY wants as his gift for our wedding
