I picked up my puggle today she is so cute. I just dont want to regret it. Did you guys at first feel weird like 'oh man now I have a responsibility' I knew what was to come but now that its actually here im nervous about the dog thing. I always had a dog my whole life with my parents but they did everything. Now im just with my FI. Was it really hard for you guys and how long did it take for them to be potty trained.
Any advice would be very helpful.

Re: Ok, got my puggle
When I got my first cat I felt that feeling too of 'oh my God I have something to take care of - can I do it?' Plus I had never had a cat before in my life and I was living in Chicago at the time - my family is here on LI. I had grown up with dogs and knew nothing about cats but I really wanted a companion animal and am a huge lover of animals, but with my family far away, living in a one bedroom apartment and at the time I was living the 'urban single life' I knew my lifestyle would not work with a dog. Now 5 years since I adopted Ashley from a no-kill shelter I know that it was the best decision I ever could have made and she is the best thing I got out of living out of state! Also, due to FH's love for animals - I now have 2 other rescued cats and I love them all so much! As long as you love them the rest will follow.

OMG!!! What an adorable little girl!!!! She is just too cute!!! lol
The first month will be the hardest cause you'll both have to get adjusted to each other and learn how she handles things and how she tells you she's hungry or has to go out. But it's so much fun and dogs are AWESOME!!! Good luck and have fun!

Aww, she's ADORABLE! It took my puppy about 5 months to be potty trained. Once you conquer this hurdle, every thing else will be much easier...oh yeah, forgot about the chewing on everything phase
Best of luck of everything. It can by trying at times but will always be worth it. It's difficult to be mad at them long...just look at their face!
