Ok guys- I think I did the most for a bride

in one weeks time. I got the dress today!!! I haven't ordered it since I live in California and need to have it altered there but it's Maggie Sottero's Paulette.I am wearing it without the halter straps. It was perfect and so comfortable. I am so excited and glad I was with my mom when I found it.Needless to say- I am very, very tired. One question- This wasn't intentional but a friend from the West coast wore this to her wedding a month ago. She wore the halter straps. And no one but her and another friend who will be at my wedding have seen it. I am a dress stalker????

First of all, the dress is beautiful! And no, I don't think you're a dress stalker. And if only two other people will know------who cares?

WOW I must be really tired, I read it wrong, I thought it was your friends dress and you are borrowing it. DUH on my part

Well, anyway, I still say the samething, its beautiful and who cares if someone else wore it. I am sure it will look different on you, and I am sure you will look GREAT!!!!

Looks very pretty and feminine! Doesn't it feel so good to get so much accomplished on your visit? I call my visits to NY 'wedding blitz weekends.'

Maybe you should mention the dress to your friend who got married beforehand so that she isn't surprised or caught off guard to see you in it on your wedding day. I am sure she'll be excited for you!

I think it would look totally different without the halter straps anyway (much better).. so it's not stalking in the slightest! I'm copying a friends BM's colors... (again, only 2 other ppl would have seen it!) so i think it's FINE! Especially since you're on another coast!

Thanks guys for all the comments and support. I haven't been on in over a week since I was in Hilton Head with my new family. They meet my parents and sister and everyone got along great. I love his sister. So it was a happy ending after all.

Update=my friend told her i picked the same dress and she was thrilled. She offered to lend me hers as well as her veil. Unfortunately we are not the same size but I think I will take her up on the veil offer!!!
