I went to Fox Hollow yesterday to gewt information on having aour wedding there, etc.. I went in at 3:30...
There was an after funeral meal leaving and a WEDDING coming in.....
has anyone heard of a Monday wedding on a non-holiday?
The bride & the BP were coming in at 3:30 .....

No, I havn't looked at Tavern, b/c it's probley out of our budget. I'm too pratical. I'm having a hard time spending the $$ within our budget on the wedding. I want a beautiful wedding, and to still be able to enjoy life. FH & I were watching a show about couples getting married.. One couple couldn't go on a honey moon b/c they couldn't afford it. From the looks of their reception, & the fact that the spent 5k on her dress.. they could have been able to afford a honeymoon if they budget ed their $$ differently....
When I think of fantasy venus I think of not being able to honeymoon

It is totally someone's choice on what day to have their wedding. For me personally, it was the first time I ever heard of someone getting married on a Monday.

When I was looking at some halls people some banquet managers were telling me they had weddings thursday evenings and monday evenings.... ive only been to weddings of fri, sat, sun....... the funeral meal is slightly freeking me out!!!

wether it's nice or not, it's still people's opinion. people should not plan their big day around what others say. If you're happy with your decision and the people who cares for you are happy, you could just say that others are just jealous because they can't get their loved ones to come out on a Monday to help them celebrate and have to spend a lot of money just to please them.
I totally agree. You have to do what works best for your situation. Your family will be there no matter what as well as your good friends. Alot of weddings are being done now during the week. Thursday night is just as popular as Fri/Sat.
