I would sit on the side you photographer better on when sitting... like if your hair is up and your hair pin or some kind of accent on 1 side of your head and its on the right hand side... I would sit on the right hand side so in all the pics you will be able to see it when they ask you to pose.

I am planning on sitting on his right side like ziamaria, just because as of now thats how the floor plan allows me to be near my family, his family is even bigger than mine so he needs the bigger side of the room and even then they wrap around to my side!!!

I wouldn't chane a thing, if your floor plan is done leave it, it'll be fine!

I don't think it matters. To be honest, where ever you guys sit, no one will notice, if it's not appropriate, they will just be looking at you guys.
