Ok here ios my birth story
What a week i had... Monday i went to the Dr and his midwife examined me and as you all know i had PIH( preganacy induced Hypertension) and GD. so i was high risk and going to the Dr twice a week for the last month and half . and she said that i was spilling protein into my urine whixch is the first sign of preeclampsia. so i went to see my specialist on tuesday and they put my in the hospital for tests and found that i ws fine. my bp was a lower but that was lyin on my lst side... So i went home and did a 24 hour unrine test to test my urine level... The Dr had decided that they were going to induce me on June 1st which is when i was just 37 weeks and they would know that the baby was fine. SO on fri i went to the Dr for my regular NST appt and my BP was 144/111 and was silling protein again. So the dr came in turned off the light and told me that he was admitting meinto the hospital and that he was going to induce me tonight and try his best to have me deliver vagainly. So i left his office called my SH and told him to leave work now.. ( he works in NJ) and he met me at home and off to the hospital we went. When i got to the hospital is was packed!!!! this was the weekend of blackout babies... so they put me in the recovery room and did all the tests. The dr come in and they hooked me up to an IV, Mag sulfate to control my BP and Potosin to induce. finally they gopt me into a room and then i started haivng contractions about 1o pm and the Dr examined me and i was still only 1cm dialed.. so we just waited. I had a cathader in and was getting my bp monotered every 15 min and had all the ivs.. it was such a pretty sight![]()
.. at about midnight the gave me an epidurel and it did not tkae so they had to do it again .. i was suprised that it didnot hurt... but i got to sleep and at 4am iwas 5cm dialed and at 5am i was 9 cm and then a nour later i started to push and her head started to crown and i was so numb is was so hard to push i finall asked for help and the dr gave me a episomoty and used the suction to get her out.. i pushed for 30 min and out she came.. and she was beautiful......
But on Monday when we got home she was jaundice and cried ALL night we could not calm her down. We went to the Dr and they readminted her to the hospital for phototherapy and she was severyl dehydrated from not eating and was in an icubator for a day and a half it was very upsetting to see my 4 days old daughter with an Iv in her arm... But i am happy to report that she is home and happy and eating
just a piece of advice for all PG .. if you are trying to BF and fell that your baby is not getting enough ask for formula is will not hurt them .... i
