While we were on our honeymoon they moved a family of 4 into the one bedroom apartment above us. They don't stop the kid was jumping rope the other night at 11:30! Then 2 days later bouncing a ball at 8:30 in the morning. They were sent a letter about putting rugs down (it is in the lease) but all they did was put a couple of throw rugs!
There is just constant banging! It does not stop!!!
I CANNOT TAKE IT MUCH LONGER!!

I have banged I even broke the Damn broom on the ceiling. Well I just turned the stereo has high as it would go and put in a mix of Metalica, Slayer and some other 'Metal Power CD' I turned the stereo on to max and went to my friends apartment for 20 mintues (it was so loud poor kitty went under the bed). Just came back and it is very quiet now!

Nope started again. So I go over there POUND on the door! No one answers I look in the parking lot their cars aren't there. They left that 5-6 year old boy home alone!!!
I was standing out there when the mother came home. I told her to cut the crap show some consideration or I am calling the police and CPS!

Not sure if this will help you but I called the new 311 number and made a complaint about noise, it turns out that since others in the building had called too, they sent over a squad car.

311 is the new nuisance number for the 5 boros, they want you to call that instead of 911 or your local precinct. Not sure where you live but I thought it might help. I can;'t believe a child that young is home alone

I live on Long Island. But thank you! I wish we had one.
Our cops are not that attentive. Yesterday they came by and asked us if we had seen this teenager and if we did to call 911 and well not more than a half hour later my friend and I saw him- we called. 911 called back about a half hour later and asked if the police could come talk to us. I said sure I will wait for them. Well that was 3pm yesterday still haven't seen the cops!

60k = 20% on a $300k house... you want to put down 20% cause if its less than that there is some sort of extra fee they charge you

I know about the the CPS thing. My Mom works for them. Not a biggie but guess what I was telling Frankie and he said well where was the young girl and young guy. I said what young guy. Sure enough I saw him tonight there may not be just 4 there might be 5!!

Editted to add: I would give them a letter, though I have asked, yelled and scream for them to cut the Crap but they don't speak ENGLISH. Does anyone on this board speak POLISH?
