i am trying to make little poems to attach to my bathroom baskets
i bought white, pink and black paper and planned to layer them with the poem on the top layer obv.
i am sitting here with a ruler, paper cutter, pencils etc and like no matter what i do its all crooked and the layers dont look right...i am the least crafty person but seriously i feel like an idiot bc i can't even do this

Buy one of those big old paper cutters that has the grid and you lift the arm to cut it. That helped me when I made my STDs. But when it got to be a pain, I brought it to my mom's office and they cut ALL the paper for me in about 2 seconds flat. Maybe a kinko's would be able to help you.

Don't worry, I went through it too! After awhile I got the hang of it. I think my hand that was holding the paper down was sliding it and making it come out crooked. Try taping it down or at least the edge closest to the blade. HTH!

If it's a paper cutter with an arm, sometimes the paper actually shifts when you bring the arm down. Or the arm is misaligned.... How many sheets are you doing at a time? I use a paper cutter with a little blade,
For the layers, measure how big you want the poem, cut, then measure an 1/8 or a 1/4 inch bigger for each layer (depending on how big you want the borders....)
