Ok, I confess....I peeked at my registries.

I peeked real quick and saw there is a little bit of activity. Now the guilt is setting in for looking.

Don't feel guilty. You are supposed to look occassionaly to ensure there is enough stuff still on it (trust me, its even in Martha Stewart). So what I look everyday? Im just being a good host!

I looked almost every day up until the week before my shower, then I didn't look at all. Don't feel guilty we all do it...it's human nature to be curious!

I've checked on it...I can't help it. But I promised my MOH that I wouldn't look anymore.
I'm heading to PA this weekend so my shower will be sometime while I'm there I can't wait.

Don't feel guilty, Stef is right, you should be checking so that you know there are enough items and can add a few things if necessary. It will still be wonderful and exciting to see who bought which gift and all the other little surprises that you won't be expecting. Just try not to obsess on your registry LOL!

It's ok that you peeked, but try not to check it all the time. I checked mine in the beginning, but then stopped checking because I didn't want to spoil the surprise.

I had my shower this weekend and I had absolutely no idea. It's so much better to be surprised. Plus, your bridal party worked hard to make this day special for you so even if you DO know about your shower....try to act surprised!

Have fun! It's great when you get all the gifts that you registered for!

I am in the same boat today. I got an invitation to my BM second time around baby shower. I don't think so!! Activity for the first time on my reg.
I feel guilty too. I think they could have done a better job getting me to the location! Don't they think I would figure it out?!
Should be fun. I actually hate the idea of people buying me gifts. FH and I live together and have a great house and all the stuff we could need or want, shower seems greedy.
Looking forward to seeing all the family and friends though.

I don't want to ruin the surprise of what we're getting. Plus, if I see too many things being bought, that would give me a clue that the shower is approaching. I must not peek!

I really want my shower to surprise me and I really don't want to peak but how can I help myself?

Its like saying 'here is this box with all these goodies for you - you don't know when you're getting them but we will just keep filling the box. Oh, and by the way - the box will be stored in your living room right in front of you, unwrapped with the cover open. BUT DON'T LOOK!'
