ok... i decided i am going to start looking for a weekend job.

i have been toying around with the idea for a few weeks now, to make some extra cash for the wedding and to put aside for our house, since we are gonna need soo much $$$ over the next year. now on to the quest.... if anyone knows of any companies looking for someone for the weekend, please let me know, thanks

We have weekend positions available working with homeless and mentally ill. Do you have any social services experience? Starting salary is only 10 or 11 dollars an hour though

i thought of the same thing. i have always said that a part-time job needs to be worth my time - i wouldn't bag groceries for a few $ an hour - but i did have a revelation the other night in fortuneoff - does anyone know how much they would pay a part-time worker?? for some reason i am remembering a girl i went to school with making $15 or something in the make-up counter - does anyone know. i am also thinking of all the perks for the employee discount....

I think they do pay well there. I a going to find out and let u know. I may just try there too.
I currently work a 2nd job at the mall 2/3 days wk. Its a little under $9/hr and well Im here now and as u can see.....not doing much.

I dont care for what I do but I helped out during the holidays and is a little extra on the savings. Every bit helps.

i actually work right now for the melillo center for mental health right now as a nurse. i deal with homeless and mentall ill clients all day. i love this job!!! when i first got it, i was soo happy that its mon thru fri 9 to 5, but now that i am getting married i need weekends but wont leave this job, its fantastic.

Transitional Services for LI. We have many weekend positions open but it would not be for a nursing capacity, more of a case management position. We do not have clinical staff at any of our sites. Our main office is islip/brentwood area but we have residences in Port Jeff, Ronkonkoma, Islip, Smithtown. Let me know if you want the info!

I have been working a 2nd job for a year and 1/2 and FH has been for about 6mts it helps! a lot esp. since 90% of our exra money is off the books
