Actually.... the house is in Maryland. The house is about 1/2 hour north of Baltimore city. I miss LI, and FI loves going to visit (he's from Ohio). Sadly, until I'm done with grad school, there is no way we could affoed to live there.

Because of work, we both relocated to Baltimore. We rented til now and closed yesterday. The house has been totally rehabbed (seller was an architect) and we have about a half acre of land, backs to woods. At 265,000, we couldn't touch anything like that up in NY (though I wish we could).
