Ok I hate cafe amici....my mom is going to go down there and cause hellllllll

Cafe Amici in Selden is opening a bigger catering/dining area, and work started summer....my mom booked my shower in AUGUST for that room...she was told we were going to be the first party and it holds 150 and they gave her their new menu etc.

She went down there to make a payment, and asked about the room....well...not much has been done since NOV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So im stuck in their cramped dining room. I am fuming. We are inviting a lot of people and I dont want to scale it back bc its their fault. My sgower is 4/5. Its so dark back there I hate it...and now there arent sure they can close it that day!!!!!!!!! WHY THE HELL NOT!!!!!!!!!!! My mom paid about 1k!!!! so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So shady!!!! I would be SO angry!!!

What is with these businesses that think they can just take people's money and do whatever they want????

It's no longer the big businesses that don't care - it's the mom and pop operations too. No one is decent anymore!!!

I'm so sorry!!! That really, really stinks!!

OMG that is horrible. Would you want to change venues if possible??? Maybe you could get out of the contract because it seems like they breached the terms if that room isn't available as promised?? Just a thought

I just feel bad bc mom did DIY invites and they came out awesome.....ill post pics later, and they were going out no joke tomorrow.

I cant handle this sh!t anymore.

wow that is terrible she should see about getting her money back and having it somewhere else! That is not acceptable at all. especially if you think it would be too cramped with everyone in that room
