oK, I have been in denial for too long- need to lose a few
I know we have a slim down board, but I have a general question.
I have put on quite a few pounds, but it is going to my tummy area. My company is between gym memberships at the moment, so tell me what I can do on my own to lose this tummy.
After V-day I am going on a diet, totally re evaluating all the junk I eat.
Help please!!!

Besides the most important, diet, try to do crunches on a daily basis. I do 100 every night and it starts to feel good.

Diet and cardio is the key!!!
You really can't 'spot train', so to take some inches off of your waist, cardio and a low fat diet are the best answers.... Crunches won't help if you aren't partnering it with healthy eating habits and at least 45 min. of cardio 3x a week....
Good Luck!

exactly..
you can do 02384209348 crunches a day and it won't do anything unless you do cardio/strength training and watch what you eat..

yes. I didn't mean to sound as if only to do crunches. As I noted diet is the most important. without routine excercise nothing else will help. IMO, I don't agree with any of those 'special' diets either, ig: atkins, all meat, blah blah blah. I think there nonsense. But less meat will help, replacing it with the healthy non-animal 'meats'. Just keep on the move and crunches as well for the toning.

Thank you ladies.
I will def do some cardio. I am so not of fan of these organized diets, so I will def be watching what I eat.

I totally agree with you.. I'm not into any of those special diets either.. although I've never needed to be on a diet before..
I do believe that portion control is key in dieting.. depriving yourself of certain things will only make you break down and binge on everything in site lol

Kathy, I know I need to lose at least 10, myself. And, I TOTALLY know what I need to do, but I just can't get into it like I know I need to. But, last night, I was wearing my husband's shirt and I saw my legs and I screamed!! So. I guess I better start loving cardio!

I need to shed from my waist, stomache, hips and my behind. I really need to do this for myself. I need to stop talking and just do it.
