Ok, I just ordered stretch mark cream

First off I am terrified of stretch marks I've always been a tiny person and even though I don't see any on my breasts or belly yet they have sure hit my hips and things (luckily they are pretty light)

So anyways I ordered from www.barmon.com 2 tubes of cream and they say it's refundable and also it was free shipping so I figured what the heck I wasted 40 bucks on a bad meal, makeup I didn't like when I got home.. etc

Well anyways, if it works I will make sure I share with you ladies... just please don't make fun of me I live in Florida I had to give it a try!

i wish you luck but i highly doubt a cream is going to do more han soften your skin. Its genetics baby.

Its worth a shot and you never know!
I use Palmers, which you can pick up right at CVS.... It has a pict of a pregnant woman on the front... So far so good with it!
Let us know how you like the cream you ordered!

Karen, the wierd thing is both of my Grandma's as well as my Mom never had any nor did they have morning sickness. The only thing they somewhat had a problem with was veins and my midwife has kept a close eye on me and told me she doesn't foresee a problem.. So, the whole gentics thing just baffles me.
I was recommended this cream by some of the men Dh works with who lift weights they said they used it and it works so I'm hopeful.

Ali, I'll keep ya posted. I have been using Palmers but only on my breasts and belly and so far so good but I forgot my hips and thighs... argh

I know a lot of women use cocoa butter too. But to be honest with you if your meant to get them, nothing you do is gonna stop them.

I have to say, I don't think any cream is going to prevent it, it is genetic, but it might lighten them. I thought I was stretch mark free with my son - I had none on my belly or hips -
Until one day I got a 'rear' view walking by a mirror after my shower, - I freaked out - I called my mom, I had no idea what these bright purple lines all over my a** were!!!!
So needless to say, they were stretch marks - and that is the area that got them! They have sinced 'lightened up'. But I always lotioned up and still do, I got them anyway.
Its all part of motherhood.
