I'm reading the wedding by Nicholas Sparks right now, but I should have started with the Notebook! In the wedding, Noah is a grandfather, and Allie has already died. They are the characters from the notebook right?

Yes, they are the characters. The wedding was great! I am glad I read the notebook first though. Such a great story! I enjoyed both books.
