FH is turning 27 on the Jan 27..I want to do something nice for him. We're going to see Mary Poppins on Broadway on the 24th, so thats going to be our night out alone. So i want to do something with friends that Saturday night...
What the hell can we do!?!?! I have ideas from people saying Strike, Dave n Busters, A Comedy Club... I'm leaning towards a comedy club, but I know you girls come up with some interesting things!

yea I was thinking going to the Melting Pot, but there might be quiet a few people going. Do they take large parties?

Are you thinking Long Island or city?
My friend did this cool thing for her boyfriend's bday - it was like a scavenger hunt around the village, its pretty cool. A group of their friends did it and had a blast. That combined with dinner and some bar hopping might be an option. . . I can find out info if you want me to . .

maybe go out to eat in the city and then after go out to a lounge or club or something...Or at hawaiian tropic zone you can rent an area with tables and everyone to hang out there.

i also dont know how much you want to spend but you can get a room at a hotel for the night and throw a party there.

Dana, I don't know where it is, but there is a dueling piano bar in NYC somewhere. I went to one of these in savannah and it was sooooo much fun. Two guys play the same song on two separate pianos - they play different parts I think - and everyone sings along, you can request songs, etc - I had a blast. If I find any info I will post it.

Fh is turning 26 next month and we're reverting back to our childhoods and having a bowling party.
Except there's a bar at the bowling alley.
Should be fun...maybe you want to check something like that out?

Actually that does sound fun lol FH was just saying the other night that he hasnt been bowling in years...hmm something to think about!

I went to one of those in VEGAS...it's totally fun. especially when every is drunk and singing along and routing for or the other!

dangerfields comedy club is one of my favorites and there is a great restaurant called merchants NY across the street.
