I am bad when it comes to this stuff and wish i could do it ALL for EVERYONE!

I am actually losing sleep with this. I dont know what else to get the BP. We have a necklace/earring set and i bought small jewlery boxes to stain and put the jewlery in...but i need something more personable. These girls spent a FORTUNE!

For example:
FSIL:
her dress $140
alterations $30
shoes $40
shower $?? but they HAD to have spent a fortune
shower gift $100+ (awesome vacuum)
her daughter (JBM) $140
her 2 sons (JGM) $150
bachlorette party $?? which is being planned now
a wedding gift $??

i mean she had to have spent a FORTUNE....luckily her sister (also a BM and mother of the FG) does hair and is doing the hair and makeup for their side of the family.

i wish i could do soemthing so special...but we are maybe JUST affording this wedding.....and i cant beleive i have them spending all this money..and i am giving her a necklace/earring i spent $25 on.

what else special can i give my 7 girls that isnt CRAZY expensive b/c i DO NOT have the money

SORRY SO LONG!

Im a 'stresser' in case cant tell

TIA!

awww! that's really cool for you to consider how much she spent. if you can't afford to give her something big now, maybe wait until her birthday or the next holiday? a spa day for the two of you, a gc for baby sitting, a gc to a restaurant she loves, a gc for her favorite store? lol, i love gc's. you can get them to suit anyone.

they have those perfume/makeup stores out in the Riverhead outlets. sometimes they have great deals on those department store giveaways (free Estee Lauder gift with $40 purchase, etc). I think they're sold for $10 a piece, and it's a cute extra gift, IMO.

I know...I was feeling the same way... the girls spend so much more than the guys and the guys ended up with gifts that cost more. I'm originally pd for their gowns...I think I'm going to give them that as a gift on top of the jewelry.

I know how you feel, but don't forget they know going into this that it will cost them money. They wouldn't do it if they were worried about how much it would cost.

I wrote each of my BMs a little poem about how we met and what our friendship means to me. They are just short little 8 line poems, but I am honestly more excited about giving that to them than any of the gifts that I bought for them because I think (I hope) that they will appreciate the personal touch.
