O.k. if you could go to a wedding at... where would you choose!!! HELP ME!!

Chateau La Mer on Sun Afternoon
Jericho Terrace on Sat Day
Timberpoint on Sunday Day
Tall Grass Saturday Night
East Wind Country Gardens Saturday night

Which one would you like to go to???
Where would you like your wedding to be??

All would be between June and August.

Jericho Terrace - no outside area, skylights
CLM - on water
Timberpoint - on water
Tall Grass - golf course
East Wind

They're all so different and I bet very few people have been to all, so I don't think the poll will give you great results...What is most important to you? On the water, one wedding at a time, etc? The feel of all these places is very, very different.

ETA: I voted TimberPoint but I noticed you had that as a Sunday afternoon. Is there any way you could do Sat afternoon? I don't really like Sunday afternoon ones just because you have to work the next day...I personally would want a place with one event at a time, and I wanted on the water on a Saturday, which was why I chose TimberPoint...

I voted for east wind. It is really nice and I would prefer to attend an evening wedding. Good luck with your decision!

I went to see CLM and Tall Grass during my search for a hall and I personally liked Tall Grass better(maybe because its newer), although the lobby in CLM was very nice. I was suppose to go and see eastwind, but when I passed it on my way to another hall I thought the place was way too big, like there are too many events going on at the same time.

But my Choice would be Chateau La Mer, but I am Biast, that is where I want to get married.

I haven't been to a wedding at any of those places but all I have heard about Timber Point is rave reviews. Tallgrass is new so not too many people have gotten married there. You should go see them all and check out their menus. That may help narrow down your choices.

ssdbk - Yes I am LOL My FMIL offered to pay for some of the wedding if we dont have it in her backyard!! LOL So yes, I am back to SQUARE ONE!!!

I did not vote since there are two options I would pick.

My vote is for a Saturday night since that is the night I'd prefer. Day weddings are fun too but I think Saturday night is the prime night since people tend to stay late and party.

We choice Tall Grass because it was the perfect size for us, Plus I love the idea of pictures on the golf course and the Glass cocktail hr room that they are going to be building. Not to mention the price for a Saturday night wedding! !

My wedding would be this summer!!!

I think I would rather a daytime on the water than a night time not on the water. I like the idea of being able to go outside and take pics on the water... People can hang out etc...

Theres no Saturday nights on the water... Sat night is at East Wind, or Tall Grass.

I would choose anyplace other than Tall Grass.

When I was looking for halls, I had only one weekend to see all the ones that I narrowed down, since FH and I live in Michigan, and were coming to LI just to go hall shopping.

We set appointments, making sure to tell everyone that we were coming from OOT. When we got to Tall Grass, the BM wasn't there, never called, and never showed up. After waiting over 1/2 hr without anyone even offering us a glass of water, we gave up and left.

Eastwinds....I have been there for a wedding and the place is beautiful and you can also do it on a SAturday night which was extremely important to me when I was looking at hall.

I haven't been to all the places. I feel like I can have more fun at a night wedding. Truthfully though, I end up having just as much fun no matter what, just slightly less dressed up. If it was going to be in the day, between Saturday and Sunday, I'd prefer a Saturday day wedding.

I say CLM, but I am biased because that's where I am getting married

I didn't pick East Winds, because for me it was too far away, and I also wanted to be on the water, otherwise its a beautiful place.
