OK, I'll start the Get To Know You Thread...

I'm Stacy, FH is Jim. We live together in PJS. We both graduated from Comsewogue HS (me, 1990, him 1986). We've both been married once before (and I have the greatest 6 year old son ) As for the wedding...we're just gonna do something small at a restaurant or my moms house.

I'm Denise, DH is Jerry.... we live in Queens - looking for a coop. Our 10 year dating anniversary is next month, but we've only been married for a year and a half! Hes a teacher, I'm a school psychologist.

Where in MA does your FH live? We just moved from there not too long ago. We were in Southern MA, though.

I am Lisa, FH is Gregg. We both Live in Queens, but not together yet. We've been together for 3 years, although we were also together in College for a while.

I'm Felicia, FH is Anthony. We've been a couple for 1.5 years, living together for the past 6 mos (yup, a whirlwind).

I've lived in Westchester/Bronx my entire life. FH was born in Long Island, went to grammar/HS in California, spend college/most of his 20s in Michigan, then came back to Long Island to live (and to find me in NY!! LOL). We now reside in our teeny co-op in Scarsdale (Westchester)

I'm a legal secretary/assistant, FH is an assistant VP for a mortgage co on LI.

And I'm a Yankee fan, he loves the Mets! LOL

Hi , I am Jen and my DH is Tom.

We have been married since 9/03. We met in 2001 when he hit on my friend who already had a boyfriend and she passed him along to me.

We live in Jersey City, NJ - and are currently house hunting in NJ (suburbs). We have 2 cats: TJ and Lincoln. And a 40 gal tank of fish.

I am in Human Resources in NYC and my DH is a Facility Manager in NJ.

I graduated from St.Joseph's College in Brooklyn in 2000. My DH went to NYIT on LI.

Hi, I'm Dina, DH's name is John. We met online and have been together 3 years, married for just over a year.

I grew up on Long Island, DH grew up in Florida by way of rural Illinois.

We're both in school for business- I'm getting my MBA and DH is finishing up his BA (VERY proud of him for doing this).

I am a marketing & sales manager for a promotional advertising agency and DH is a sales & marketing rep for a synthetic oil manufacturer.

For fun I like to cook, bake and entertain, as well as paint pottery and scrap. DH loves to play raquet ball and baseball- he's in his first league this summer.

We have two cats, Morton & Maca and we live in Jersey City, NJ!

Hi, I'm Laurie and my husband is Joe. We have been married for a bit more then a year and 1/2.

Since the wedding we have moved from LI to Florida, Florida to Texas and now we are back in Florida and just got a brand new construction home. We move alot because Dh is an Active Duty Pilot in the USAF, we are hoping to finally be able to plant some roots here in Florida now that we got the house.
I grew up in Bethpage but was a graduate of St. Anthony's in 1997 and Dh is orginally from Philly.

I miss LI terribly but I'm 24 (25 next month) and Dh is 25 and there is no way we could afford to raise a family or ever by a house on LI especially with his salary now so I like checking in on the boards when I'm homesick!

Hi I am Debbie, my husband is Darren. Next month is our one year wedding anniversary and our 8 year dating anniversary. We met on Long Island and he moved to Florida in Jan. 1998 once I graduated from College I moved down here as well. Currently our new house keeps us occupied during the days and we are trying to concieve our first child which keeps us busy at night

Michelle- DH is Vincent aka, Vin, Vinny... hence, the MV.

I went to H.S. and college in San Francisco and hubby went to St. Francis Prep/Queens College.

We met in 1997 @ CBGB's, where Vin was the guitar player in a band. As they say, the rest is history. We got married 6 months ago.

I work in the city at an ad agency and Vin works on LI as a Network Administrator.

We live in Bayside, and hope to buy a condo soon. We're going to start looking when the weather gets nicer! Bring on the spring!!!

I'm Jenn, FH is Doug. I live in So. Queens, his parents are in Brooklyn, but hes at college in Philly. We met at Stuyvesant HS (Class of 2000) and we've been together 5 years. I can't wait for him to graduate in May! AHH! We got engaged at Walt Disney World, my favorite place on earth!
