so i know it stands for 'the wedding of the year' but whose wedding is it? and what is it exactly?

It's basically a vendor showcase, but the contest is held to pick a Bride from the previous year, as well as the Bridal party. Ex. TWOTY 2009 is comprised of 2008 brides as the bride and bridal party. We would be elible for TWOTY 2010.
